New issue of TUM, the Icelandic Journal of Education, has been published.

The journal has five peer-reviewed journal articles by eight authors about education in broad context.

The articles discuss the field study of kindergarten teacher students, ethics and self-knowledge in Gísla Súrsson's story, changes in the work of principals in elementary schools, the well-being of elementary school teachers at the beginning of their careers, and prosperity as the goal of education.

As usual, the publication is published twice a year, both in electronic form and in print. Only one journal was published in 2023, but researchers are encouraged to send manuscripts to the editor as the next publication is expected to be published in June 2024.

All articles in the journal are accessible on the journal's website, and there are also instructions for those interested in submitting manuscripts.

Those interested in subscribing or purchasing a printed publication can request it by sending an email to tum@hi.is.

The journal is listed by DOAJ (directory of open access journals and articles).
